New and updated marking regulations for cargo destined to the Iraqi government and State organizations
The Office of the Prime Minister in Baghdad introduced on the 1st of July 2017 new regulations concerning the import of cargo destined to the governmental sectors and cargo destined to the State organizations.

All cargo should be clearly marked as follows:
 The goods are exempted from duty and taxes
 The goods are not for sale in the local markets
 Shippers name
 Consignee name
 Contract number
The regulation should be effective from the 1st of August 2017.
The main reason to make such regulations is to stop and prevent Cargos destined to the Government and State organizations end up for sale in the local markets.
